I write because it helps keeps the darkness away and reminds me that there is magic in the world. I live with one husband, two dogs, and a cat named Shitty Kitty in a small mining town in Arizona. At night this place is definitely spooky. I swear I’ve heard the wind giggle, and sometimes there’s a very odd breeze. Luckily, I love all things that go bump in the night. I adore old movies. I’m a huge Joss Whedon fan.

I’ve been known to eat pizza and cold Chinese food for breakfast, and I’m the queen of the board game Stratego. I’ve never been beaten. NEVER!

Tour Sign-Up: After The Woods by Kim Savage

Hello FFBC Team! We are now announcing a new traveling book tour we're hosting for After The Woods, released on February 23rd 2015 by Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

The tour will run from February 17th - 23rd and there will be available the following types of posts:

• Review (Limited spots and for US Residents)
• Interviews (Only 3 Available and for INTERNATIONAL bloggers)
• Guest Posts (Only 2 Available and for INTERNATIONAL bloggers)
• Playlist (Blogger's Choice - Only if you're reviewing)
• Dreamcast (Blogger's Choice - Only if you're reviewing)
• Favorite Quotes (Blogger's Choice - Only if you're reviewing)

Remember that November 16th is reserved for the Welcome Post, so do not pick November 16th in the sign-up form.

ABOUT THE TOUR: 6 bloggers who live domestically and who are excited about the book will be chosen to receive a physical ARC of AFTER THE WOODS. Every blogger will have a maximum of two-weeks to read it and we the book will be sent via a UPS form with the next blogger's address. (The blogger will be responsible for procuring the envelope and dropping the package off at a UPS location. And Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group will cover the cost of shipping and therefore have tracking numbers.)
